Ever since I was a child, I have had a fascination with cars... and other means of transportation."
I built push carts, skate boards, attempted a lawn mower engine powered go-cart, and even dreamed about a motorized lounge chair.
I was driving the first chance I got, which was my friends cars... before I had a license.
With a learners permit in hand, I honed my driving skills on the southern California freeways driving my grandmother
on regular trips from the San Fernando Valley to La Jolla, near San Diego, for heart doctor visits at the Scripps Institute.
I never had my own car until I went to college, but I was allowed to borrow the family car after I had my license.

I have always loved driving and particularly the machines that allowed me to do it, hopefully in style and comfort.
I have driven North America from Anchorage, Alaska to Miami, Florida, and La Paz, Baja, Mexico, to Portland, Maine.
I have driven Europe from the Sogendahl Fjord, Norway, to Lindos, Rhodes, Greece, and London, England to Vienna, Austria.

To me, a car is not only a means of transportation, but a means of expression, and represents to me, where I was at any given point in my life.

I added this section to my web site for sentimental reasons... like some of the other sections, it gives me instant access to my memories wherever I am.
