Leslie and I first leased this car with an option to buy.
Although she had a degree in Biology, she wanted to go into real estate like her father.
This car came in handy for real estate showings and was leased as a write off for her work.
It was tobacco brown and we had a sun roof put in... the roof paint job never quite matched, but it drove beautifully.
I remember Leslie getting pulled over by the police because they wanted to know what a young girl was doing driving it.
After Leslie and I broke up, I purchased the car out of the lease and used it to go back and forth to work at Parsons.
As a side benefit, it seemed to really impress my boss who was Austrian-German.
I always got a kick out of driving him to lunch in it.
In the end, the required warranty maintenance was so expensive that it was impractical to keep.
I traded it in for a Toyota Corona SR-5 with the same color and many of the same features.
