For recreational volleyball, we used to play regularly at both Olive and Verdugo Parks, Pierce College, Valley College, and at Cal State Northridge.
We would also get together "informal" teams to play in tournaments.

Both my coed partner, Kate Driscoll, and my mens partner, Steve Stark, worked hard to earn us first place trophies at this Glendale Presbyterian tournament in 1966.
Playing with a team from Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Recreation Center, we took on some heavy hitters at this tournament.
At Cal Poly, I teamed up with friend and fellow architecture student, Don Stine, to win a Doubles Tournament.
