travel asia china li river

With out a doubt, the geological formations along the Li River create some of the most fantastic, exotic, and enjoyable sights I have ever seen.
Finally seeing first hand the famous local fishermen fishing from narrow bamboo rafts with their cormorant partners was a definite highlight.
The small settlements along the river often looked like something out of another generation or an Indiana Jones movie.

This trip has to rate as one of my top travel experiences.
My only regret is the extremely poor quality of the slides I brought back.
Some day, I hope to return... with a good digital camera.
