travel the caribbean grand turk and caicos

Arriving at Grand Turks and Caicos it is hard to imagine how such a small flat island could survive.
A new cruise village is attached to the cruise terminal with the usual cruise company shops.
There is a nice pool here in a landscaped deck and a nice long sand beach.
We were set up for a late afternoon tour of the island, but it was cancelled due to a breakdown of the tram.
As a result, all we saw of the island was the walk from the ship to the cruise village and back.
We might have had a nice day at the beach or pool, but we will never know.
For that reason, I have not rated this destination.
