travel europe estonia tallinn churches alexander nevsky cathedral

This cathedral has been beautifully restored and is well worth a visit.
The begging women at the foot of the steep entry steps are a strange accompaniment.

These women were begging outside the cathedral and, seemingly posing for pictures.
It was such a strange and diverse group, that one couldn't help but wonder if they were all part of
a "well-organized ambiance" designed by some PR group to lend local color to the town.
