ARCHITECT: HELMUT STRIFFLER (1967)

The Protestant Church of Reconciliation (Versohnungskirche) at the Dachau Memorial was designed by Helmut Striffler.
Striffler said his design is intended to make a statement against the Nazi Obsession with order and tradition.
The austere modern concrete structure is set in a bed of gravel.
