I visited Wismar in 1994 while I was in Lubeck chaperoning a group of high school exchange students.
The ladies of my host family, Merita and Nadine Stolle, took me on a day trip into the old East Germany.
We briefly visited with some old relatives in the countryside and then went on to tour Wismar.
