ARCHITECT: TADDEO GADDI (1345)

The Ponte Vechio, or Old Bridge, is what is identified as a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno.
It still has shops on it like it used to, but instead of butchers, many are jewelry, art, and souvenir oriented.
Except for it historical value, there isn't much to it... except possibly at night when lighting adds a bit of mystery.
