ARCHITECTS: GIOVANNI DI AGOSTINO, GIOVANNI PISANO, CAMAINO DI CRESCENTINO (1215-1263)

The Siena Cathedral is probably best known for its black and white marble stripes.
It is in the Italian Gothic, Romanesque, and Classical styles of architecture.
Often called a wedding cake cathedral, it dominates the skyline of the this hill town.
This uniqueness is enough to give it a high rating.
