travel canada yukon territory carabou crossing

Traveling with a busload of tourists, we stopped at Carabou Crossing for a bar-b-que lunch and to visit the wildlife museum, petting zoo, and sled dogs.
Even with the masses of travellers arriving by bus, the food was well prepared and tastey and the patio atmosphere was comfortable.
Plus, you had all the donuts you wanted for desert.
The small museum was okay, but the taxidermy exhibits stole the show... very well done taxidermy.
The younger crowd enjoyed the petting zoo with burros, alpacas, and sled dog puppies.
For a fee, you can take a sled dog ride... in summer its on wheeled carts.
As hokey as it was, I still gave it a good rating for the effort to entertain everyone.
