ARCHITECTS: WATG / WIMBERLY WHISENAND ALLISON TONG & GOO with DISNEY IMAGINEERING (1988)

In 2015 we visited the Grand Floridian Resort using the lagoon boat from the Magic Kingdom just to see what it was like.
The over-all architecure was rather nice within the context of the theme, but I found the feeling a bit too formal and verging on pretentious.
Even if money was no issue, its not the kind of atmosphere where I would be comfortable.
The people we saw checking in looked like they just left a tv make-up artist on their way to a photo shoot.
