travel united states new mexico chaco canyon

I really enjoyed our visit to Chaco Canyon because we almost had the whole place to ourselves.
I don't know if it was the long dirt road in or the time of year we visited, but it was a delight
being able to visit these ruins without hords of people bothering us.
Under these conditions, it was possible to actually feel what it might have been like to have lived here so long ago.
It was nice also that there was good access to the ruins...
This would probably change if there were more people visiting.
