travel south pacific australia new south wales sydney sydney harbour

The Sydney Harbor (also called Port Jackson), is the world's largest natural harbour.
Next to city center, especially around Circular Quay, this harbour is one of the most lively, exciting and busy waterfronts I have visited,
even in comparison with Hong Kong and Venice.
The shear number of ferries and other boats that are all moving at the same time in a relatively small space is fascinating.
The waterfront is alive with people, music, and food almost any time of the day.

However, Sydney Harbour is more than just Circular Quay and streatches over a large area and is bounded by many individual harbors, marinas, and distinct neighborhoods.
This relatively protected harbor provides a playground for a variety of ships, boats, and other water vehicles.

Take a ferry to Manly and you will get a great overview of the harbor.
