travel south pacific new zealand hawkes bay mission estate winery

Mission Winery was established in 1851 by French Missionaries, New Zealand's oldest winery.
Of all the wineries we visited in New Zealand, this was the largest and most developed.
The white structure sits high on a hill above thier vineyards and features a beautifully kept garden patio.
I believe we tasted at least five wines from their collection in a large tabled room next to the lobby.
I am not a wine drinker, but, of the three vineyards we visited that day, Lynn thought this one came in third for taste.
