travel south pacific new zealand wellington parliament "bee hive" - executive wing

ARCHITECT: SIR BASIL SPENCE, FERGUS SHEPPARD (1969-1979)

New Zealand Parliament's "Bee Hive" is the executive wing of the parliamentary complex.
The original conceptual design was by Sir Basil Spence in 1964 and detailed design was done by New Zealand government architect Fergus Sheppard.
The building was renovated 1998-2006 and again 2013-2014.

I found the ten floor structure to be dramatic... if not totally beautiful.
Detailing was nicely done and interiors were consistent with the exteriors.
