travel europe germany bavaria rothenburg ob der tauber burggarten

On the west side of Rothenburg is this beautiful, informal, Burggarten, or Castle Garden.
From here, there are nice views along the city wall and out over the Tauber River valley below.
Besides lawns, trees, flowers, and a fountain, there is a small chapel.
My daughter-in-law, Nikki, and grandchhildren Justice and Alex, joined me in sketching here in 2017.
