travel north america united states california carmel by the sea dining tree house cafe


We tried the Tree House Cafe on a 2017 road trip that included Carmel.
It is nicely located on a second story where we ate on a patio in the trees.
The best thing about the meal was the crisp bread and olive oil.
The rest of the meal was nicely plated and looked appetising.
The restaurant was relatively highly rated, but I remember leaving unimpressed.
I don't remember if it was the food itself, or the fact that one of the orders came long after the others.
