Estancia Fitz Roy is a historic ranch on Isla Riesco across the Fitz Roy Channel from the Illustrious Municipality of Rio Verde.
The ranch now functions as a tourist destination for people who want to experience the way sheep ranches used to be... and also enjoy a great asado.
We spent several hours at Estancia Fitz Roy seeing the way a sheep ranch was historically run, exploring the estancia, and enjoying the asado.
At the asado (social activities centered around and including a barbque) we watched three whole lambs roasted on an open fire and then served to us along with fresh vegetables and dessert.
All in all, a well run, good experience...
