travel germany rhineland palatinate bacharach burg stahleck hostel
ARCHITECT: UNIDENTIFIED

Burg Stahleck is now a castle hostel... a hostel that was actually started under Hitler.
This hostel, if you can get in, will provide one of your best experiences of staying in a castle for a reasonable price.
It is perched on a hill high above Bacharach, Germany, and the Rhine River and has fantastic views from its courtyard.
We had breakfast provided with our family hostel room.
Parking is very limited if almost non-existant up on the hill site.
