Sunhollow House, Burbank, California, 1976

Hands-on siding experience included installing the vapor barrier and cedar singles on exterior walls and vertical cedar t&g siding on deck walls.
The design concept here was a house clothed in a "textured" skin of cedar shingles and, where cuts are made into the exterior geometry of the skin, namely for the decks,
the "cut" surfaces are smooth finish cedar t&g siding.
